Introduction
By Nature is founded by Marije Langstraat BSc. Marije is graduated in 2007 in the field of environmental science at Van Hall Larenstein. During her study she specialized herself in aquatic ecology and water management. She has done research in the field of fish migration, re-meandering of water streams and the influence of the decline of the ground water level on nature. After her studies Marije worked a couple of years as ecological consultant for the municipality of Rotterdam. During her work for the municipality she developed further in the field of nature legislation, bats, birds and ecological management.
Next to her studies she has years of experience as promoter. She did all kinds of promotion work and informing presentation through the country. This experience is still used by organizing workshops, trainings and other kinds of presentations.
Besides nature Marije has a passion for all kinds of out-door sports. She spends her spare-time usually rock-climbing, bouldering, canyoneering, mountain biking and/or survival running.
